ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

Good Air Intake For about 75$ ?

I have recently Just got my CB7 93 Coupe,
and its in really good condition, but Already i am Looking to Start tuning it.

So I dont Know if this is true but a great easy and cheap way to pull more BHP
is to Get a Air Intake Which can add about 20bhp depending on which one i guess.

So what is the best one to get for about close to 75$
I know there are a good amount available just cant choose.

Ive been using a site called Yourhotcars.com For most tuneing equipment right now. they got a great selection of body kits. but cant really tell if most stuff there is over priced or not.

Anyways any help or suggestions to pull some more bhp would be great.

Btw I own the Leather Model of Cb7, OUCH XD.
Looking For Some CB7Tuner sticker, No Credit Card to buy one. Anyone wanna give me for free?

ur just a tad bit late coz fruitloops just sold his aem intake on ebay and it went for $66.. but you can just get an el-cheapo intake and upgrade it with a better filter (i.e. k&n, apexi, aem, etc.)

get a generic 2.75-3" off ebay for around $25...or you're wasting money.

Unless you live in california of course...even then you aren't paying for a different/better intake...just the "carb" sticker.

spectre intakes are the ones you can find at auto parts stores (autozone, pepboys, etc..).. unless the car shops sells em for less than 30, i would just stick to the cheapest u can find.. but dont forget to get the better filter..

I gave like $42.00 for a cold air (2-piece so it could be sr or ca) off of ebay. Granted you still need to get a different filter on it but you can find them cheap online.

Yes sir. That's why people, including myself, are saying to get a cheap intake off of ebay or somewhere else instead of paying 2-300 for a brand new AEM, Tenzo, Injen, etc etc intake. The piping is still going to be aluminum and 2.5-3 inches in diameter and air will flow through it the same way. The filter will cost you upwards of 50 bucks give or take what kind and where you get it. Granted if you search craigslist or ebay you may be able to find a used intake in good condition in your price range. Either way it's an aluminum pipe. Hope this helped.

agreed, there is no sense spending 200+ dollars on basically the same piping, the only diff is the filter.
