ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Get an H22/H23 TB and send THAT to maxbore. The A6 TB won't fit on the H23 plenum. When you contact the guy, see if he can portmatch the plenum for you as well.

The H22/H23 TB and plenum would be a better option, honestly. You'll probably gain just as much with those stock parts as you would from a maxbore A6 TB on the A6 plenum.

Remember, the engine is an air pump... so the amount of power you make depends on the entire system's ability to efficently pump... it's not really possible to say exactly how much you'll gain.

You'll probably notice a good increase in throttle response, though... so it'll feel faster if anything else!

I sent my TB and Plenum to Maxbore. It was a good upgrade, I felt it pull a little more in the upper RPM's.

How DARE you ask me! j/k

It was $165 for him to Bore and port match the Plenum. I use the H series TB and plenum. (I used it on my JDM DOHC F22B)

That motor died so now I am rocking my F22A with it. Not bad but I can't take advantage of it yet due to it being a stock engine. That will change soon enough though!

As I said before, the H stuff is better... it's bigger, and flows better... which is what you want. When you open up the rest of the motor's flow capabilities, you'll have a bottleneck there. You're basically paying maxbore to widen your A6 throttle body to H22/H23 size...

Not all...different years and autos have different sizes.

                              Nvm.

It says on maxbore.com that both the F and the H series are bored out to 64 mm with a 67mm tapered opening. Except for the type S which is 66 and 70
