ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Anything that is material will not last forever, this car will last me more miles then a new car. (100k & your looking at some serious repairs, i saw a k20 at my mechanics with only 100k that wasn't even really abused and is now nothing more then a paperweight)

Everything everyone has said + Lower sparkplug tube seals, I see them leaking at work all of the time and have to replace them, they get hard and start to leak.

Jak frostwhite....how did you do the 5 lug conversion?

Just because every CB you've owned is a POS, doesn't make them all so.

For the record, both of my CBs have been EXTREMELY problem free. I replaced an ignitor and a radiator on my 93' in the 3 years I owned it. I replaced the radiator and a fan and some coolant lines on my 91'. The 93' had 263,000 miles on it when I destroyed the suspension in an accident involving ice and a curb, and my 91' has 208k on it, 5k of which I put on in the last month.

Sarcasm doesn't translate well over the net. And I'm well aware that most of my CB woes were my fault.

I'll be honest, being 23 years old, I have only dropped my car into netural once...thats when I hit a Javalena going about 70. Killed the sum pitch but it threw my car into Netural, sent guts and everything else into my grille, hood and screwed up my bumper..never again will I do that.

Also, I was gunna ask you, since your only up in Chandler, were did you get your grille?
Yeah I actually got it from a guy in tucson that was parting out his cb7.

x2, and the one that works the clutch switch, and the top one on the cluch assembly that kills the cruise when you clutch. All went within three days like dominos. Of course that was less than a year ago, on a 93 with 220k+ miles.
