ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    holset???

okay i have been piecing together a turbo kit slowly for a while now and now i am at the point of getting the turbo. i have been looking around to see what all is out the to choose from. as for my motor is a f22b1 with f23a head. my hp goal are 300whp which i know is no problem. and i have my turbo selection down to the holset hx35 with 12cm hot side or the t3/t4 57 trim which both flow around the same. i can find t3/t4 setup on f22's all day long online and i can find feed back on them as for how they spool and when they hit 10-15 psi by but.... as for a holset setup i can't find any info on them as to how they react on the f22. other than i made xxxhp at xxpsi. anyone have any insight on this setup???

holsets are good turbos. The only way you will know what the turbo will do is to use calculations to figure out your cars flow rate and match it up to a compressor map. The hx35 would be a great turbo for the f22 and will spool quite fast people have had great results with them.

People can hate all they want, my f22 is faster than yours.

yeah that is what i was thinking i would imagine i would hit 12-14 psi by 4000 or a little sooner. and from the flow chart it seems that 13-15 psi should get me to arount my 300 wheel hp goal. it is the turbo i am leaning on going with right now. and the price of the them is a little better that the garret setup. it also seems like the holsets last longer from what i have been seeing posted about them.
