question on rotors

i want to get drilled or slotted rotors for my 90 accord

Unless you specifically want this for the bling value then IMO don't bother.

Slotted rotors may be of some use for competition cars where the brakes can get very hot and 'gas-up', but make no difference to a road car unless the brakes are very inadequate ('gas-up' being when when severely overheated pads give off gas that prevents them remaining in contact with the rotor, but modern compound good quality racing and high performance road pads gas-up very little if at all). Holey rotors are almost never of any real value, even for racing cars...

Best bet for a road car is good quality high performance pads and good quality blank rotors, keeping in mind that one of the things that slots do is to increase pad wear...

i will assume you are going to race on the track and etc.

I would get Hawk pads there is a racing line.....or EBC red stuff(more for track) or Green stuff(more for track/street) if that is not enough for you get EBC Yellow stuff

the rotors with the large funny shaped hole in the center have to be pressed on and off of the hub. Its not a really bit deal. you just pull the spindles and take them to a machine shop.

my 92 had to be pressed off. Mine may be different then yours but do what you think needs to be done.

on some accords the bolts might just take them off but on alot of older accords they are stuck pretty good. thats where the machine shop comes in. you may be able to just un-bolt them and take them off.

mine wouldn't just come off and I got tired of messing with them so instead of messing something else up I took them to the machine shop with the new ones and they hooked me up. It just made my life easier. I hope I helped

the rotor are NOT pressed on, i have 92 accord, i did the whole front brake, u just have to lose those 4 bolts with 10mm, and use wd40 to get the hub out, take times but NOT pressed on
