Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    H22a1 Help

    Just wanted to know the what are the reasons for my cars hesitating problem, did the tune up rotor,cap,wires,spark plugs,oil change, oil filter, timing belt and so on and so on...... both of my timings are perfect, and stil when i drive around the block my h22a1 hesitates and bogs a lot, now im thinking it couldbe a fuel problem and i am putting 93 octane in it but i changed the filter like 3 or 4 months ago, i had this problem for quite sometime now and would really appriciate some help

    is your knock sensor detecting knock and retarding the timing? that could cause it

      im running the car on a crazy tunning p28 i heard they dont look for knock sensors

          Are you throwing any trouble codes from the ECU? I would check that first. If it bogs without throwing any codes it has to be timing related.

            No codes but my timing is good could it be a fuel problem?

              also check your egr valve. Before i put my block-off plate on it, it was hesitating. Now it doesn't. But also at the same time i adjusted my ignition timing. ie. distributor.

                Yea I also checked the egr valve and it was good, I checked vacum pressure and its also good I'm thinkin it could be the fuel Filter which ill have to get tomorrow

                  my knock sensor wire was groundin out coming through the fire wall.

                      allright so i changed my ful filter and that wasnt it any other ideas?

                        If your running p28...look at your tune...Are you running a basemap..If you are that is part of your problem right there.
