Help!! Emergency!!!

Yes I know my battery is going dead, and it's from all the cranking it's done. It's on the charger now.

I've checked;
Plugs - sanded and re-gapped
Wires - all firing - no problems with ignition
Dizzy Cap - slight corrosion, sanded
Air Filter - slightly dirty, removed to try and start
Gas - just put $5, that was my first thought

I'm betting ignitor, or main relay. You better find another ride to work tho.

main relay?

you can bypass the relay to get you to work but i wouldnt recommend it.

definitely fuel related,main relay, fuel filter, fuel pump.

Give the main relay a couple solid taps and see if that helps. Have you tried the Main relay diy in the diy section.

see if the CEL goes off when you put the key into II and listen for the fuel pump whine

If you have a soldering iron, you could repair the main relay in about 30 min, including removal and reinstallation. Just remove it and resolder all the contacts on the board inside.

Is your car auto? Its easier to get out of the dash on an auto.

Yea it's an auto, but it's got cruise (pain in the ass.)

I dunno, I gave it a tap, tried to start, gave another tap, etc... did that about 8 or 9 times and nothing.

I'll take it out tonight. I called in at work and my supervisor told me to come in on my day off to make up for the lost time.

Highlight what you want to copy.

ctrl+x = cut

nah i know all that hahaha...my stupid URL doesn't show the actual URL...all it says is Cb7tuner.com...nothing else afterwards. Eh...someone will come along and paste it for you...maybe.

Oh ok, and no it's not on. My Battery light (it was dead from all the cranking) and oil light (needs a change BAD, but that's it, it's topped off) are the only lights on.

Fuel pump works, and no gas leak (appart from the tank).

It all comes down to the Main Relay right now.

PS: How hard is it to change a gas tank (bad rust/got another one for free)? Is the fuel pump internal or external?
