ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

I gots Sprints. They lower about 2.5". I also got shocks with an adjustable perch so the whip sits lower than that. If you gonna do all that prolly should upgrade shocks, there's so many different kinds I don't know where to start. I also gots the camber kit up front cuz I don't care for negative camber. The rear I just put in washers and it works fine for me. After all that got an alignment and rolled out.

Most shocks aren't made to handle a 2.5" drop. I would recommend Koni Yellows (also known as Koni Sports). They have the adjustable perch for height adjustment. They have a lifetime warranty, regardless of how low the car is (others void the warranty after 1.5", which is barely noticable as a drop)

As for a camber kit, DEFINITELY get one. People will follow this post with "don't worry about camber, it's your toe that you need to worry about..." but those peopel are morons, including my good friend Jake... If you plan on driving the car regularly, GET A CAMBER KIT! Once you have the camber kit in place, get an alignment IMMEDIATELY. This will correct your toe AND your camber. I suggest you go to Firestone, or another place that will give you a lifetime alignment package. I paid $200 at Firestone one time, and I never have to pay for an alignment again! Any time a wrench touches ANYTHING to do with your suspension, you should follow up with an alignment, or risk destroying your tires.

I highly reccommend the adjustable upper control arms from www.TASauto.com. I have them on my car, and I would never have anything else. Nothing is safer or more effective (and I've had camber kits break on me... You DO NOT want that to happen!)

thank for the input. i was acctually thinking about getting these springs TENZO 2.25" LOWERING SPRING SET from tas. sorry bout the opening its a 2.25 drop. id like the drop be between 2.25 and 2.5. so i would have to get camber kit and control arms. would it b better to get control arms for the front and back?? or dont really need the back?? and what type of perch you guys have?? and a while ago i was thinking adjustable coilovers would that need more stuff then the lowering spring stuff??

The adjustable perches are part of the Konis.
And yes, it would be wise to get the front and rear. I don't have the rear, and my rear tires are shot.
