Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    H22a Into Cb7

    It wouldnt let me post it in the swap section!!! so please move this or help me if you please....

    tomorrow i am going to order this motor: http://tigerautoparts.com/details.php?id=1717

    obviously im slapping it in my cb7 91 lx coupe....

    im a little in the dark about the ecu...im not sure this motor comes with an ecu, if not what kind should i get?? or what should i do?

    and then as far as the ecu goes, swap comes with injectors but i heard somewhwere that theres a difference from obd1 to 2? would i be fine just using all the stock components??


    so basically what ecu or parts do i need to put a 92-95 lude motor in my cb?

    im also putting a 5spd in there are there any wiring issues with that?

    i dont know im an idiot and would greatly appreciate anyhelp you vets could give me.

    oh yea and one more thing i have an aem intake, and a DC header....CAN THESE BE USED ON THE H22??????

      Don't go there. Try hmotorsonline.com. I got my H22A there. Entire swap with red valve cover for $2095! Engine was clean, runs, great, and no leaks

        Peeps here are prolly gonna tell u not to go thru Tiger cuz they are not based in the US and if something goes wrong with the engine u might have trouble getting it squared away. Some cats also say they be sellin crap engines.

          my buddy got a gsr swap from there and it was clean and ran good...enough about that.

          will my intake/header work on the h22?

          do i need to switch ecu's or anything? idk im a fucking idiot and have been reading the swap guides and am just coming up short...electrical systems blow

            ur intake might fit, but ur headers if there from an f22 their not going 2 fit.
            for the ecu im not really sure but my friend got a p28, p13 those r the 1s i think would run the h22. good luck bro.

              DO NOT use your stock ecu

              Tiger doesnt necessarily sell shitty engines all the time....you just only hear about the bad ones.....and usually if you do get a bad one from what I hear they make good on their mistake

              but usually hmotors is good to go straight outta the box and 99% of the people on this site will recomend them (whether theyve bought there or not)....Im going tiger....but thats cuz its located an hour and half away from me so i can hand pick my engine.

                  p13 is the stock h22 ecu
                  the p28 will need to be chipped and tuned in order to run it.

                      If there's cum on your ECU, get a new one.


                      Some swaps do. Tiger sucks ass, so who knows what they'll send you. You want a P13. Don't even think about a P28 until you've learned more. The P13 is the stock ECU, and will run it fine.

                        i just called and it doesnt COME with an ecu, and it comes with a cut harness! wtf how hard would that be to work around and where would be a good place to get a p13 ecu

                          www.hmotorsonline.com will send you everything you need. I HIGHLY recommend that you order your swap from them.

                          Otherwise, you can take your chances on an ECU from ebay or craigslist.
