ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Window stuck open- there has to be a way

One of my passenger doors on my 92 4 door EX is stuck open. The window motor still runs but I took the door panel off and reached down in the bottom of the door inside of it and uncovered a broken off piece of white plastic that I believe is part of the Window Actuator. My question is, if I take off that plastic insulation, is there a way I can take apart the door enough to get the window closed? I dont care if I cant use the window anymore for a while, I just need it closed for when it rains!

'92 EX 5-spd Sedan - Odometer reads 215k with 195k on my JDM SOHC F20A.

'92 DX 5-spd Coupe - Had bad times soon after buying with brakes and water pump (only paid 700 tho), Ran awesome then water pump went bad! F22A1
Needs: Water Pump and Timing belt (have parts) Front control arms at 200k, e-brake adjustment, mad body work, drop.

    Bought from: Slick, STL_92_Accord, TASPRO

Push the "up" switch, and pull the window up by hand at the same time. It should stay up. Just don't put it down again until you replace that regulator. When that plastic bit breaks, the window won't go up beyond a certain point using the motor alone... leaving about an inch open. My rear driver's side is like that right now.

Yeah, that's exactly how mine was, but now its to the point that whatever I do, I can only get it up barely past halfway

If you can't even pull it up, then you have to replace that regulator.

Or, do what I have done to my driver's side at the moment... Remove the door panel, remove the regulator, and attach an unfolded wire coat hanger to each of the mounting screws... then hook it around the part that the armest usually mounts to. It's ghetto, but it'll keep the window up and secure until you can fix it properly!
