So i swapped the H23 IM and TB on my a6 lower runners and i need help reconnecting them back. Which fitv do i use the f22 or h23 one. One one im using only have 1 nipple on it instead of 2. Do i have the right one. Its connected to the Tb on the underneath side. I need help with the running the coolant likes and figuring out which ones go in and exit on the valves. I know the outlets are on the water neck housing and the inlets are on the bottom side of the IM. The second part is on the vacuum lines for the black box and other nipples on the IM. Can someone guide me by which ones get hooked up and where. Thanks. Here are some pics I have to which Im working with. I have read the DIY on the swap but I was confused. I'm not sure if I have them hooked uo correctly soo far.

ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

coolant and vacuum lines on IM swap

Coolant flow lines run like this:
Waterpipe To Throttle Body Nipple,
Out FITV Nipple under throttle body,
In Right Nipple of IACV
Out Left Nipple of IACV to Waterpipe
Make sure you hook the Air Boost Valve Vacuum Line to the top of your intake pipe and not the plenum itself.
All the vacuum nipples can be used for any vacuum operated system, so there is no right or wrong nipple to hook the vacuum lines up to.
As for the black box, if the car is an automatic its supposed to connect to the rear motor mount, the part that has a hose and the motor on the black box goes to the IAB Sylinoid. The wire for the black box goes to Connecter A Pin 17 on the ECU.
Note: You may have to find somewhere else to mount the black box because there is a power steering connector at least on my car that would conflict with the factory black box mounting location.
Good Luck!Last edited by cloudasc; 05-03-2009, 04:40 PM.
