Radiator Hose

This just got to me , when my car is warmed up the upper rariator hose (short) is very hot while the lower hose (long) is cold. I don't have any cooling issues such as disappearing coolant and overheating.

Is my radiator blocked?

That's how it should be. Hot coolant flows from the top hose, into the radiator, and through the bottom hose. Obviously, the radiator should cool the coolant down. I bet that if you let your car idle long enough, the lower hose would warm up.

I had that same issue over the winter. My lower radiator hose was cold, the top was hot. I drained the coolant thinking something was plugged, the coolant was freezing cold. But, my car never overheated, had no loss of coolant. I even replaced the thermostat, still did it. I just figured it was due to the freezing ass weather we were having

If the car is properly warmed up the thermostat should be open, and the both hoses should feel hot. When its warming up, before the thermostat opens, the lower hose will be cold while the top hose will feel hot.

Thats a symptom of a properly functioning thermostat.
