ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

well building it yourself with parts from him is also a very good idea. building a NA monster on the cheap is something left for the d-series guys. easier to replace a jacked up build in one of those then one of these, imho.

What are your goals? That package is a very mild build to say the least.

              Port and polished head = $500 ($500+ - Nasty)
              Valve train = $400-$1600 ($1600-race - Nasty)
              Cam = $599 for level 3 (Nasty)
              90mm 11.5-12:1cr F22 pistons = $400-$500 (Nasty)
              Sleeved block = $800 (a must for 90mm slugs)
Connecting rods = $300 (IIRC that is what Bisi was looking at charging for 600whp set of rods)
Stock F22 Crank is good to go

Or you could go extreme Nasty and have Bisimoto Engineering build you one.

It's pretty much my build in a nut shell.... But most of the prices came from Bisimoto.com & CCCylinderheads.com

I bought my parts from all over the place. Custom parts are the big $$$ but to pit one vendor against the other can get you some good deals. It all comes down to customer service and good prices for me.

This is where I bought my parts,
Race Engineering - Pistons & Rods
F22 Parts - Custom Grind Cam (didn't know Bisimoto Eng. existed when I bought my cam. I don't know if he had his level 3 for sale then anyway)
KMS Engine Development - Valve Train
Summit Racing - plumbing odds and ends
Xenocron - Fuel pump & Aluminum Rad
5GenAlive - Light Weight Crank Pulley
Fidanza - 2.3 Clutch kit and LW Flywheel
Local Honda Dealership - Gaskets & bearings, oil & water pumps and sensors/solenoids
Ebay - spare intake manifold, GSXR Throttle body & air box.

                    Tuning,
Moates - Ostrich, Hulog and Burn1 (soon to be taken over by the Demon)
Innovate Motorsports - Wide band O2 sensors and gauge
                    Chrome - Tuning software
                    eCtune - Tuning software
