ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

you should be able to use the injectors but the TB has to be an H22 TB.

the plenum from an F22 won't bolt up either.

Use the proper parts, or don't drive the car.

Underfueling your new engine is a VERY bad idea.

of course, this is just me joining everyone else in assuming you mean you're planning on using your F22A injectors and throttle body... because your first post looks as if someone with a 1st grader's grasp on the English language typed it (if English is not your primary language, I apologize... if it IS your primary language, please communicate as such...)

Aren't f22a's injectors 240cc and h22a's 345cc? Your Vtec would pretty much give you the opposite of what it should. By the time you hit Vtec, you'll be losing power. Running an engine lean, is a badddddd idea.

And the throttle body off an f22 won't fit an h22. F22's have lots of compatible things with h23's, but not h22's. They don't really share much, except for engine mount locations, pretty much.

edit: Oh, and transmissions fit together too. Ex. F22 tranny on H22 and so on.

... if not causing major damage to the engine.

i under stand that its not going to work great but im not tryin to go beat everyone and therir mothers civic. but i have to get my wife and son around. i just want to make sure that limping it around town would be ok everyone here is civic guys and their no help. i know all the parts i dont have are bigger. its just like i said everyone here drives damn civics so its hard to get parts i have to driv3 like 2 hours to get them.

so im trin to use some old parts off my soch f22a6 TEMPORARY. dont want to kill it just need my ride you know

i have a h22 tranny code on tranny m2f4 got it for 100 got the motor for 900. should have picks up soon cars clean except the 2 primer spots

Do you know how to tune an ECU to run larger injectors? If not... don't bother with those 550cc ones... they are no good for you either.

Does your F22A6 run? If so, use that until you get the right parts. If not... I suggest you find someone that is selling H22A injectors, and ask them to ship overnight! You won't be driving your wife and son around for long if the motor blows up due to fuel-starved detonation.

Also, you don't need to make a new post every time a new thought pops in your head. I merged your last 4 posts into one. If you want to add to it, click the edit button and say what you need to say... just as I did with this little bit right here.

I don't think anyone here would recommend what you're suggesting, but it will probably work. I'd never rev the engine high at ALL, and grannydrive it ONLY though.

And if it breaks down anyway, well, tough.

The best option is to leave it until you can afford to put all the right parts in. Swapping an engine isn't like filling up at the gasstation, you really need to think ahead and plan a bit before just chucking it in there.

EDIT: Bah, I'm a bit slow, deevergote covered most things nicely.

that is impossible because you can definitely find almost any Honda part on ebay.
but if you MUST drive the car RIGHT NOW, then I would just put the F22 plenum and throttle body on it, F22 injectors and F22 ECU, and it would probably be a good idea to keep it under 3000rpm

He didn't mean you can't ask questions, but if your post is the last in the thread, instead of replying to your own post you can simply use the "Edit" button to add further questions on the same subject.

Unless you want to buy new from Honda, and can't find at junkyards, ebay is probably the best way. It's pretty safe as long as you keep to sellers with a good reputation.
