ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    ek springs on a cb

My friend is going to buy a 93 accord ex coupe with maroon interior. so I'm trying to help him decide weather to get it or not. Its on 19" wheels with stock suspension. The guy is throwing in some lowering springs from an ek. Will these fit?? (I already let him know not to use stock struts)

He found another 93 coupe in white with navy blue interior with only 79k on the stock motor. I think this is a better buy since the motor on the 19" wheel coupe is a f22a1 and the owner says it has like 50k miles (I highly doubt since the f22a1 is from a 90/91 accord). What do you guys think?

I wouldn't buy it because it has 19" rims.

That's what I'm saying .. he's going to have to do a lot of suspension work to reduce camber and get the wheels to not rub... he's selling it for 1500$

On the other hand the white cb is 100% stock and its at a dealer for $2k

I'd go on your line and choose the latter.

If not only because I'm sceptical about people that feel the need to throw 19" rims on any car

Also I would REALLY check up on those springs if that's any kind of balancing factor, I doubt EK springs will work well on an accord even if they fit (IF, but I haven't really got a clue, they may) .

I havent tried to put EK springs on my CB7 but as far as i have read, no they will not fit. Better off getting what is suppose to be on our cars.

Just to clarify. They may fit, but they wont do their job. They are 2 completely different cars, different weight, and power ratio. Suspension from another car usually is not interchangable.

18's are a max when your on the accords if your looking for a drop. Not only that, but 19's are just way too big.
