So i am looking to make around 200hp as cheaply as possible. I was thinking about turboing my f22 just because its in great shape. Or should i just swap in a H22. Not sure where i could get a turbo kit for the f22. I did some searching around in the forum and saw that people were making decent power with them. Im trying to get the car to run low 15's or maybe even high 14's. I really don't need A/C and my friend is big on dsm's so he might have his stock turbo lying around somewhere. What should i do?

ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Dollar for dollar a turbo setup nets the most power a can and headwork on an f series would cost more than a turbo kit to make 200hp.

if you want VTEC, then go for the H22 swap. Turbo's are nice, but they're not as reliable as NA power...if just bolted onto your existing F22 block w/o doing anything to it.
An H22 swap would only have around 40-60K miles whereas your F22 has most likely over 150K miles, so thats just looking at the reliability aspect of it.

I dont understand why everyone allways throws the reliability card out when turbos are mentioned. Other than tuning the car once there should be no reliability problems unless boost is abused. no different from an h22 that gets railed on daily eventually something is going to fail its all in the driver not so much the setup. I personally have been turbo for almost 5 years now and have had no issues with reliability.
