ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Hmm I'm not sure. My motor does not have that in that spot. It kinda looks like a vacuum tank of some sort. Is that the H22? Where does the lines that are hooked up to it go to?

Yeah, that's on the h22. If you look above that whatever it is, it has a vacuum hose that goes to some sort of diaphragm. I wonder if it's something that had to do with it being hooked to an auto transmission? I've searched all over the internet and can't find the name of it. It's irritating as hell

It's for your vacuum. Normally it's positioned on your firewall behind the intake manifold. Maybe this was the best way to fit it after they did the swap?

Does the vacuum line from the fuel pressure regulator go to it?

The motor isn't swapped yet, and this picture is just being used as a reference. But, on my motor, this is in the same spot. I'll go take pics of it today so we can get a better idea of what it is. I appreciate the help

Ok, if I'm not mistaken, there was an electrical plug on it, what do I do with that?

And does anyone know how to get the return spring for the butterfly diaphragm out? Do I just take that entire plate out? My diaphragm is gone and I'd like to replace it. Found one at a junkyard on an f22a6

Buy the one from the junkyard and then fully gut the one that you have now with the missing pieces and then doublestack the IAB's. Put the gutted one on the bottom and then stack the one with the butterflies on the top.

It will make the runners a little bit longer. It wont do much but since you are planning on buying the part anyway, you might as well use the whole thing.

Aah, doesn't sound too difficult to do either. I think I'll do that, since I don't really want to mess with trying to get the diaphragm and return spring off. I'll just take the entire plate.

                            Sounds good

BTW, how is the H22 coming? Have a set date for the swap yet?

It's coming along great. I'm hoping to have it in by the end of the month. I found the hard water line, need to find an oil cooler and that solenoid or whatever it is that I broke. Gotta get a new header, clutch and power steering rack. Oh, and some spark plug wires, no one around here had any, so, they had to order em.

I'm sure once I start doing the swap I'll run into some stuff I'll need, but, I'm super excited
