ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Need help with door compatibility on sedan. DX door same as EX?

Hey everyone, I've got a gunmetal 90 EX with a damage rear drivers side door. I've been hoping to replace it with a junkyard one but unfortunately my color is pretty rare among cbs, and was only available in '90 and maybe in '92 somewhere. Either way, I've found a DX that has the same color code in the junkyard, but it's a DX, meaning no power windows or locks. I'm just curious, can I transfer over all the parts from my door into this DX door and will it work??

    Thanks in advance!

      Thank you!

I remember one horrible detail about that door though. The little window in the back door was gone, and somebody had pried the metal that overlaps it on the outside a little in order to get the window out. Is that bar replaceable or should I just forget about the entire door all together since it's ruined?

They are the same except for the power locks and windows. As far as the bar goes, Which bar are you talking about?

          I wish I could open paint but I can't.

The bar that you can see on the outside, painted black that seperates the small wedge window for the back door from the back doors normal roll up and down window. Someone pried that bar's lip out quite a bit in order to get the wedge window out, and I'm curious if I can carry over mine, since it's not damaged. Otherwise, I should probably leave it at the junk yard if it's attached and damaged, but I'm not sure!
