ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Leaking Trunk anyone?

alright, I'm sure a couple of you guys have had this problem, but every time it seems to heavy rain, my trunk get's really flooded, and I need to hurry up and try to prevent it from rusting my trunk. My buddy with a sedan has the same issue and he has tried almost everything and nothing has worked, any help to how to prevent this would be real appreciative.

    thanks....

check the weather stripping first and see if it is cracked or ripped or something.
Then check the tails. i have 9293 tails on my 9091 so i think that may be a part of it, but i think i also have to re-seal my tails since the get filled with water. but i know for sure that im getting the water from the tails not sealing properly.

Mine leaks on the sides. Ill open my trunk after a rain and the center is dry, but the sides will be fairly wet. Not sure if its filling/flooding the spare area, but last i remember, that has a drain on it....

You have a spoiler? Or your antenna could be leaking. Or try lowering your trunk latch. I've had to do all three.

My 93 was horrible. The leaking flowed in to the cabin and I have about 2 inches front and back seat on the floor. the 93 was rear ended so there was no telling where it was coming from.

the 92 isn't that bad. it leaks on the sides but this weekend I am resealing the antenna and ordering the weather stripping. I saw a drip from there spare tire area under the car. it's not too bad but I don't want it to get worse.

That tip for lowering the trunk latch I'll give that a shot today as well.

If nothing else you do works try checking the lower part of the window molding, There is 5 screws that hold it down. My boss has a 92 coupe and he replaced every peice of rubber back there and the window molding was the problem.

I just found out i have a nice size hole in the driver side fender area. Gonna pull out the welder this weekend, and remove the rear bumper.
Any idea on how the bumper comes off, cause this is one thing i never got around to actually pulling off.
