ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

I had water in tail lights after my car was painted; replaced the tail light gaskets and problem was fixed.

It could be the weather rubber strip around trunk that is old, dry and cracked, also the back window, the antenna and spoiler holes and not sure but maybe if you have moonroof sometimes you get the front floor flooded or the trunk because the water that gets inside moonroof that goes thru front and rear fenders may be clogged causing water to get inside car or trunk and you will need a long thin wire to clean the hoses and putting water on the moonroof holes to see if water runs freely.

my far right tailight alays seems to get condensation in it and i think thats where my leak is coming from... i was told that if and when you replace tailights to put a bead of clear silicone around them to prevent this... but i have the stock lights (sigh) and havent had the desire to replace them yet. i had a system back there and my amp (mounted on the fold down backseat) got water or condensation in or around it somehow, and it cuts in and out now. just another thing to get fixed..... is there anywhere else that it could be leaking from? ive checked everywhere else, and even when it rains i dont see water anywhere around the far right of the trunk. i do notice that along the sides of the carpet molding there are a few drops, but i think its just from opening the trunk!

There are two screws holding it in place. You'll need one of those star screw drivers

I know this is old but I just fixed the leaks in my trunk and wanted to post up my experience so it may help you guys that have a similar problem.

Mine has a spoiler and that were the majority of the water was coming in. I pulled it off, cleaned it and then applied a bit of silicon before remounting. The other leak (which was really bad) was from the air vent to the left side. Rather than muck around with a new gasket which would have been a nightmare to install, I applied a thick bead of silicon around the edge (from the plastic to the metal). Been dry as a bone since! I know others have found leaks in other areas, but for me, those were my mine.

You should see a Dr. about that leaking trunk ... they make medication for it.

I have a leaking trunk ever since my sedan trunk swap. I need to adjust the fitment and latch location and it should hopefully go away.

I had a similar problem. As everyone stated, taillights leak. Check there, an the antenea is a leaker too. The stock rubber grommet around it is very old and sun damaged. Also repair any rust problems and replace weatherstrips. That was everything wrong with mine. Hope that helps.

I have a massive hole in the bottom of my truck. H311RA151N is going to tack weld some sheet metal in there and i will fiberglass over it and spray it with under body coating.

I think it was from cancer and then someone cut a huge chunk out then did a shit job at bondoing it.
