what is the diff 91 f22a6 and a 92 f22a6

i have a 91 f22a6 motor that runs great and has 215000 miles on it and i have 92 accord (daily driver) with a f22a6 with 290000 miles that runs OK i got the 91 cheap as a back up because i might need it soon so the question is what is the diff between the two and do i need anything else to put it in i know the dizzy is diff can i use mine

they didn't make a 91 f22a6..

the 90-91 ex came with a f22a4...that's it..

92-93 ex came with a f22a6 =]

and u must have a different engine in the 91..it's not the original engine..

that's probably why it runs better lol..

ok well the the intake manifold is the same and im pretty sure its a a6 idk but the car was an se maybe motor swap?????

90-91 had dx, lx, ex, and se, 92 had dx, lx ex, 93 had dx, lx, ex, se
All dx, lx have a1's
the 90-91 ex has the a4
92-93 ex has a6
90, 91, 93 se has a6

All a6 motors are the same from my understanding. You might run into legality problems by putting a motor thats older then the chassis, you might want to check the laws in your area.

Yes the 91 SE does have the A6..
DX/LX/EX doesn't.

All F22A6 motors are the same. Did you actually read the stamp on the block and see that both motors say F22A6? or are you just assuming it is a F22A6 because of the intake manifold?
