Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    prelude suspension

    Hey,does Anyone Knows If A 97-01 Prelude Suspension Fit On My Cb,i Mean Springs And Struts.

    If it helps, the struts/springs on the 92-96 prelude and 97-01 prelude, are interchangable.

      IIRC, the rear suspension is the same, but the front is not, or vis versa. Either way, all of the suspension will not fit.

        92-96 prelude and 97-01 Prelude base share the same suspension both front and rear, The 97-01 Type-SH has a different suspension in the front.

          He wants to know if it'll fit on a CB, not the interchangability between the generations of Preludes.

            I Guess If They Are Interchangable B2een Gen It Might Fit My Cb.92-96 Ludes Share Similaritys With The Cb,right.

              well if anyone comes up on a suspension of either generation it is useful information for them.

              I don't know of anyone who has tried fitting the suspension before.

                  Prelude suspensions do not fit on CB7s. 5th generation Accord suspensions will fit, but that's all.

                    i know this is kind of a old thread but the prelude front suspension will fit. i just got done swapping the front crossmember, radius arms,lower control arms, spindles and tie rod ends. it all fits. the inside mount for the lca on a accord is slightly smaller than the preludes so a little bending is needed, only about a 1/8 inch or less. the prelude lca is longer, wich is why i did not use the uca. a camber kit is necessary for proper alignment.it did make the track of the front wheels wider but not by much. have not driven it much (no time) so i cant tell a handling change. took some pics. enough to do a diy if anyone wants? got all the parts for free so it was worth it to me. btw all 96 lude parts were used. i think base 97-01 prelude spindles will work though, if u wanna do 5 lug!
