Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

FINALLY GOT IT RUNNING!!! Runs pretty good on stock injectors and waiting for my basemap to come in. Im not hitting boost at all. But i did run into some problems...
-The im running open downpipe and it dumps right on my fan, and it happened to melt my fan completely i will try to get pics of the carnage...
-the internal wastegate didnt work bc it would touch my alternator and i couldnt route my turbo the other way around bc it would touch the block even after knotching it.... and i have a dsm manifold so no way i can run an external wastegate
-oem downpipe flange would not fit bc it touches the fan, so i thought it would be a 5 bolt dowpipe flange and bought one for 25 and it ended up not matching.... so i had to just use 2 bolts.... any input helps right now bc its just sitting....

k well i took some pics but have to go to work in 5 min so ill upload them tonight or tomorrow, i went to the shop and redid my downpipe, the 5 bolt d/p doesnt match up so i just used 2 bolts, and fan wise, junkyard wanted 30 bucks for a used fan!! screw that so i am now in search for a spal fan. in the mean time im using my ac fan.... idk how good this is at cooling, but anybody ever used it for cooling? its the metal one with 4 blades on it. Im using this temporarily to get to work and back til i get my spal slim fan... input please...

heres some bad quality phone pics
painted it black bc it was crooked on the passenger side...
redid the 2 wires for my boost gauge just wanted to make sure the light worked
you can see where my downpipe was dumping at....
and the carnage bc of my dumb mistake....
anyways im going back to the shop tonight to redo my down pipe and have it dumping at the ground, and still waiting on input of how good the ac fan cools my car?? anyone tried it?

heres teh recent pic. some changes today...
-bought a spal 14" slim fan for 60 bucks works great!!!
-redid my downpipe so it dumps to the ground
-re mounted my front mount so its more straight =]
-now im just waiting for my basemap to get in
-also my car was sputtering like crazy this morning i went to do acomp test and all cylinders were about 160psi, but my spark plugs were drenched in oil possibly my valve cover gasket and spark plug tube seals?? any ways cleaned the plugs with brake cleaner put em in and ran great!!!

when spring break comes ill try to redo my piping and make it fit better, no tune yet actually i still havent gotten my basemap chip in yet.... so still on stock injectors and watching that boost gauge and shifting at 2500 every gear! also ordered new cast iron mani off ebay, new turbo thats huge with no specs, its a twin scroll t3... idk much about it ill post pics later, and external wastegate.

Very nice. Hopefully, I'll be doing a turbo build sometime in the near future. I have to get the rest of the money to get my h22 so I can take out my f22 and rebuild it. Keep us updated on your progress. I want videos after you get it all done and tuned and everything. Looks great so far.Check out my members rides page here:

For starters did you order a dsm cast manifold or f22a cast manifold? Just trying to figure out what design you went with..
Also that huge ass t3 twin scroll..your gonna have issues spooling it if you don't actually get a twinscroll manifold to help the spoolup.. So id suggest getting rid of the twinscroll turbine housing and getting a t3 70ar turbine housing for it..
