ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

doubtful it's a decrease, mostly all those things do is make more noise.

theres was only one line that i didnt connect its a line (hose) that came over the throddle that was to small to connect to the "cold air intake" so i purchased a little cone shape filter to place over that one ..

it was a 20$ 92-96 prelude inttake that was posted up on one forums

Let's give the guy some credit. Look, if it doesn't feel right, then take it apart and check to see if you put it together right. Take the filter off and make sure you can see daylight from the other end. Make sure nothing is restricting the throttlebody. If everything looks ok, then you might want to look somewhere else for your performance problems. Let us know what you find out. Good luck.

Make sure all your vacumm connections are where they are suppose to be. Pull the filter off make sure it's clean. Then reset the ECU and if you dont see the difference then something else is wrong.

Adding airflow mods such as an intake, header, or exhaust will increase top end power... and often decrease low-end power. Your car will feel weaker in the lower RPM range.

short-ram is usually good for low end. Now, if you got a cold-air, you might have the same problem I did. I ordered a cold-air intake off ebay, which the piping was supposed to be 3", but it was a little less than 2 1/4", and my car wasn't getting enough air, so it would bog a little when I gave it gas. Especially on the highway, going up hills at 65-70mph, and giving it just enough gas to go up them in overdrive, and my car bogged. Threw that shit in the trash. I put the same filter that was on my short-ram, onto my cold-air with 2 extra rubber pieces to put it on since the piping was so small. The piping was definitely too small. My top end sucked too, which took forever to find out, since it took forever to get to 6k rpms.

If you want low end power, you're driving the wrong car.
