ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

who said there are no "pro's" on ebay?
just check the feedback and make sure the description sounds like they aren't on crack. ebay has a good feedback system.

That's why Ebay is OUR feedback system. If you want security buying on cb7tuner.com, use the ebay forum, and go through ebay... Feedback, insurance, the works. Ebay is a GREAT place to do business. You just need to be educated about what it is you're buying!

A P13 isn't fully tunable. You can have some things adjusted, but if you want a fully tunable ECU, the P28 (or comparable) is necessary.

Well I am not saying everyone on ebay is not a pro, but even the feedbacks they get aren't always about the product. usually (and I hate this) the feedback says something about the shipping about how fast the shipping was and what nots. then you'll have people say "great product" and on the same product some one else will say "i hate it". Then you'll have people just say "great product" even thought it wasn't just to get a positive feedback back from the seller.

But your right, feedbacks do help alot!

A lot of people, especially when dealing with things that they don't really understand (like anything ECU related) will leave positive feedback based on quick shipping, before the product is even installed.

memphis, you live in clarksville correct??? are you on tennspeed.net??? if you are send a messaige to ECUADAM on there if you are not on that site then join it. adam is a great tuner and he offers a great deal for 200 he will come out to your house and chip your ecu(you will still have to buy a p06 and i know where one is for 50 in nashville) put on his wide band and street tune it. if you would like he to dyno tune it then i think it is a additional 100 and he uses the dyno at carma preformance on foster in nashville. also on the site i mentioned in the classified section there is a s200 chiped to a p30 for sale, a p28 on crome, and a p72 chiped with a s100 unit. me personally i would get a po6 and contact adam and if you don't trust he just make a post on tennspeed and ask about he and he will have hundreds of of members let you now about his work( which i have never heard any thing bad on)

on a side note man do you go to the meets in clarksville???? they hold two every weekend and the lask one i went to there were about 60 cars out which i thought wasn't to shabby. just pm me if you are looking for any parts for your cb7 and i can normally find what ever for a decent price. i live about 45 minutes away in springfield but i do alot of work in clarksville out at apsu. well good luck and hopefully this will help you out on your ecu issues

Would that $300 to Adam to do a dyno tune include the dyno rental? That's a hell of a deal, if so! The local shop here quoted me $500 for a dyno tune, and I thought that was a steal!
