ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Also needs a piston, and if I was going to do that, I'd just rebuild the whole motor. Not enough cash flow right now. Anyone close have a good motor?Originally posted by nine_deuceWhat I'd do is this: spray brake fluid in her eyes, shoot her with a nail gun, while she's down, give her a "chili dog" or a "strawberry shortcake" a "rusty fish hook is always fun"

I don't think I know of a complete running F22 for sale.
A friend of mine may be interested in selling one we swapped out, but it has prob 200k miles on it and was weak and sputtering when it came to the garage.
I have a '95 F22B1 head and block I plan on stealing the crank and rods from. The block is still complete, but I could sell you a piston from it. That motor had 270k on it! aaaah!
I have all the H23 parts to do a head swap, I guess...
Unfortunately, all these options are for a more difficult job than just swapping in another motor.
You could get just an H22 or H23 longblock (+ECU) and go with the parts that it comes with. You would probably spend 1200-1500 bucks tho.
Or you could take your motor to a machine shop and let them install a piston and whatever else they think needs to be done (resurfacing, bearings, etc.).
Maybe you could get a quote on the job price before you decide.

Safe to say the engine in post one here is Toast!
For others who have similar problems with antifreeze and chocolate milk oil, always do a few rapid oil changes with filters after you fix the head gasket.
I would change the oil and filter at the time you fix the headG and then drive it for about 100 miles and dump it again because antifreeze and bearings don't like each other at all.
