ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

There are two within a hundred miles of me.
Noyanusa 800 877 2352 (Noyanusa.com)
and Japanese Engine Import 800 964 9904
They are in the Manassas and Chantilly VA area.
Maybe not too far for a road trip...but you could always get one shipped to you from any US company for a couple hundred bucks extra.
Hmotorsonline.com is well known.
JDMtigerjapanese.com has some of the best prices.
I could help if you were Juuuust a bit closer.
good luck.

i changed the head gasket on my ex and i didn't take the cilinder head to a machine shop. just made sure icleaned the top of the block good. cleaned the head with engine cleaner and kerosene, then rinse it with a garder hose, then install it. did it within a day and chilling every hour or so lol
people have taken the cilinder head to the machine shop so they can check for small cranks it it and maybe resurface it a little. other than that i wouldn't spent any extra money....are we there yet are we there yet are we there yet

if it is milkshaking the oil bad and you dont know how to look for indications of a blown headgasket you might have a cracked head. id highly doubt it because ive pressure tested every f22 head i have and none were cracked. (i have about 5-6 cylinder heads)
probably just blew a headgasket but just make sure the surface is true and keep changing your coolant.

Replacing the head gasket isn't hard but most would prefer you get the head resurfaced before putting the new head gasket on.. The head gaskets are about $50 buck u found a motor with 80k?! Not bad!!! Jump on it bro and good luck

Yeah I figured I would put that in with a good cam and some other minor mods. Cheaper than an H22 swap. Also would like to do some other things, such as suspension, brakes, and some body work. Make the car better all around instead of pouring it all into a motor swap. Thanks for all the input.Originally posted by nine_deuceWhat I'd do is this: spray brake fluid in her eyes, shoot her with a nail gun, while she's down, give her a "chili dog" or a "strawberry shortcake" a "rusty fish hook is always fun"

Puttin' the car in the shop Friday to see what's wrong with it. If I can fix it before you drop the engine in, I'd definitely come help.
