ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

I'm pretty sure it's the 2.0si. it's the ex-r that comes with the F20B engine... not %100 sure though

only if you count the 2.0si.

the only accords to ever get factory h22 motors were the si-r (not a cb) and the euro-r (also not a cb)

              I dont think so.

If you're thinking about the JDM CB, then it's either the CB3 Si or CB4 Si.

For coupes, there's the DOHC CB6, but I'm not sure what the trim is. It could be an Si too.

              F20A DOHC is 2.0.

The EX-R is just the Canadian version of the US EX. Nothing's different.

The 2.0 Si isn't anything like the Civic Si cars... it's not a performance oriented car.

Because in Japan, they have the SiR moniker as well.

Si is not as 'fast' as SiR, in Japan atleast. Don't get confused with the USDM Si moniker.

SiR used to be the epitome of greatness until the TypeR/EuroR/TypeS came along.

the CB3/CB4 Si was the fastest Accord during that generation, but VTEC implementation was only on Tegs, NSX and Civics during that time-span.

So no CBx Accord SiR during the time.

The CD6/CD8/CF2 was given the SiR moniker, because it received a very potent 190PS motor. No more Si in the lineup. EX, EX-II, VTi, VTS, SiR etc..

From my eyes, it goes like this:

                      CA5 Si -> CB3 Si -> CD6 SiR -> CF4 SiR-T -> CL1 Euro R -> CL7 Euro R

that's a list of the sportiest Accords available in the lineup, during their respective generations.

You may argue that the CF4 SiR-T and CL1 EuroR are from the same generation, but the SiR-T was discontinued when the EuroR was introduced in 2000.

During the CL series Accords, the SiR nameplate was dropped, and replaced with Type 24T, Type 24S and TypeS.
