h22 intake manafold to a f22a6 engine

anyone have much luck doing this swap. did ya get some decent performance gains. i bought this with the throttle body for $65. on ebay and cant wait till spring. i gota totally flush it out first.

u could only use the upper half of the plenum only which is the same as her h23 upper manifold. its been done before with some good gains

upper half meaning the pgm fi part right? and the h22 throttle body will be fine?

^yes, for your A6, use the plenum (upper 1/2) and it's t/b. May want to snag another set of runners (lower 1/2, bolts to head) to fully clean out and bolt the whole thing on when it's complete.

If you pick up a set of lowers, you might as well port match them and clean the runners up a little. It might be minamal gains but it's good practice and it'll give you something to do till spring comes.

now on ebay there is 92 to 96 prelude s intake manafold. is the lower half runner that goes to the head the same as the f22a6 to use?

No cuz the Prelude S has the F22A1

i did a custom double stack i waiting for a h23/h22 plenum have a iab plate with functional butterflies and another one thats gutted to act as a spacer cant afford the blaxtrac spacer. wen i figure out how post pics ill show you my set up

Or you could stop getting spoon fed and use the search function. There are several threads on the site about the a6/h22 or h23 im swap, with pictures and instructions.

tuff guy? At what point did I ethug? I think maybe one of us is more of an ethug than the other. (Since you mistook my other post for trying to be a tuff guy, I'll explain this one clearly: This post is just some friendly joshing around.)
