ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

wow! Nice iam new to the accord thing. I have a next question what would be better to buy a f23a engine or just the f23a block to do the g23 all motor or turbo setup ( iam not sure yet).

Don't buy anything until you've learned the process inside and out... or you'll end up with either a half-completed project, or a broken motor.

A complete motor is safest if you don't plan on changing the internals. You don't really want a motor that's been sitting headless for any period of time. You can always sell the F23 head to some idiot that things the SOHC VTEC head is an upgrade.

What are your reasons for wanting to do the G23 swap?

the import tuner mag theres a guy with a G23 setup with k20 pistons making like 260whp i want 220- 230whp allmotor . I just think the g23 is like a b20vtec for the accords

            Not so much...

After modification, the F22A head actually outflows the H22 head, even modified. Granted, the H22 head has VTEC, which IS a good thing.

It's entirely possible to get 230whp or more all-motor with the F22A. Talk to Bisimoto.

First, though... LEARN. Learn what it takes to do the swap. More importantly, learn WHY. Otherwise, you're going to be going on gut feeling, internet spewn drivel, and assumptions. You need to go on proper mathematics and engineering. Hype will only cost you money and power.

ur right that why iam think of just buying a H22 engine w/ Rmf or replica rmf header, CaI, exhaust, type-s cams and a nice tune. I want the car to be reliable at the same time it can bus some vtec when it time too. ( I want to use a vtec motor)

what would be needed for 230whp on the h22? Yeah I just might have to speak to bisimoto

                I got alot to learn
