ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

No, the "supercharger" that goes on the air intake is stupid, useless, and a waste of your money.

          What?!!

Hahaha I heard of a gas blower being hooked to the intake on the dyno but that little fan is going to rob you of hp

you either want a true turbo (single turbine running off exhaust), or a true supercharger (twins screw turbine running off of belt)

Just because there isn't a supercharger kit made for the f22 doesn't mean you can't supercharge a CB7. How do you think guys in the 60s supercharged their muscle cars? They ripped blowers off of busses and trucks and slapped em in there!

You can supercharge a CB7. Trust me.

However, a supercharger is not a fan in the intake. It is not some "spiral inducing" intake restriction piece of crap either. A supercharger compresses air (or for the simpler types, like the roots style blowers, simply displaces more).

Go on Wikipedia, Google, Howstuffworks.com, and even your local library. Read up on superchargers if you're interested. There's a lot to learn, and many untapped possibilities for our cars.

Yeah, between that f22b and the supercharged h23 vtec in a cb7, that's about as close as we have to a supercharger on our cars.

It's more than doable. It will be done.

It just takes more than a leaf blower in the intake, or a shredded tin can...

What about shredded aluminum cans? The weight savings should be worth .0000000001 in the 1/4!

seams like a viable solution with some injectors and a good tune, it even recommends a better supercharger from a mazda.

not remotley, they are about as powerful as a leaf blower, a true belt driven supercharger is the way to go!
