Okay,
I've seen a lot of people talking about turbo this, and n/a that. Which is completely and utterly okay. Nothing wrong with putting power into your car. There is however something I realized. How in the hell are we expected to put anywhere from 200-500 wheel horsepower down to the pavement repeatedly and consistently, without breaking a gear?
I'm not saying that our five speeds cannot handle the abuse, but come on, there has to be a limit. What I want to know is if there are manufacturers out there that make stronger gears for transmission rebuilds that will easily handle the daily stress of said added power.
Has anyone done any research or found anything remotely useful to this question?
Second question, how much horsepower can the f22a1 five speed handle until it breaks?
