ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Post a pic of your under hood, amps, wiring, subs.

Capacitors do not fix charging system issues.,. It puts more of a strain on a poor charging system. Remove the cap, fix your car, if you still want to add the cap after, Simple stuff here,,, People have already told you this,

new alt does not mean anything........ get it tested
    upgrade your big 3
if you have piece of crap "huge" amps get rid of them.

What make of amp are you running and what are you running on it and how is it wired up? Please post pictures of how its wired or please describe it so we can help you out.

          look in the DIY section.

upgrade your ground wires from your battery, engine block and where ever the other one is.

upgrade your power wires all around as well
          Maple50175 - you're annoying =P
Brandoncb7 - I don't mean to come across like an ass but I see why you irritate Aaron now.
JoshM - Crotch rocket = chick magnet.

I had the prob you having a while back. Whwn i turned it up to loud, it wold switch off when the bass hit. Not just the subs, eveything. It wa an alpine head unit. I did all this stuff (big 3) and diff. batteries tying to fix it. It was an alpine head unit.

One day i was having a bad day, and just wanted some music, and it kept tuning off. So i did what any pissed off man would do; As i was driving, i smashed the face in with a pair of chanel-locks. Prob solved! lol. After i got a NEW alpine, it worked great. To this day, sounds awsome.

Put in another head unit and see if it keeps turning off.

Ohh. It also stoped my guages fome dimming. 2 type R 12's. Ive never used a power cap.
