ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    manual tranny fluid

okay so i mentioned to a member that sometimes when i shift, just sometimes shifting into 3rd gear it kinda slides hard, like its grinding a bit, its the only gear that does it. and a fellow member on here says maybe you need tranny fluid?
well i was told by people that manual transmissions dont take tranny fluid?
do our manual accords take tranny fluid?
sorry for such a dumb question but im not sure to be honest.

haha yeh thats right boy.. told you there tranny fluid for manuals.... geesh.. what u think it slide easy on its own?
You don't have to like what he did, but I would hope that you can appreciate the time, money and love that went in to the build. If you can't, you're not really an enthusiast, just another dumb kid with a car.-visualpoet

Fluid form the dealer is one of the best ways to go but i prefer BG SyncroShift II. i could definitely tell a difference in the way my car shifted. its not cheap stuff tho. i think $10-$15 a quart. i know buschur racing uses this stuff in their 800hp evos so its gotta be good.

i've tried honda mtf and redline mtf. i have to give it to the redline fluid hands down. i'd buy this stuff even if it was $20 per quart. i paid 9 and change but the difference it makes in just a few weeks is unbelievable.

I like Redline too. I'm still stuck on the Syncro Shift II tho.

i thought that new Honda MTF was suppose to work like that GM Synchromesh?

man makes me wonder what i should run in my tranny after i swap it? you guys say all 3 stuff works great.

i bought an integra that shifted rough into 3rd, but the last guy (or maybe any previous owner) never changed the fluid. i changed to Honda MTF and it shifted fine. the other stuff is pretty good, but you can't really go wrong with Honda fluids, even on a budget.
