ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    bisi cam fuel economy

anyone who's done the stage 1, or stage 2 bisimoto (or delta equivalent) cam in their F22's care to share fuel economy numbers. I'm considering the stage 1, but I don't want to dump my economy in the toilet (which is why I bought this car to begin with lol)

All I have input for currently is a Delta 272 camshaft regrind for F22ax application. I had this with a ported F22ax head as well and I/H/E mods. I had 27-28 MPG in cold/winter weather and as high as 31.5 MPG in warm weather. My car idled at 1200 RPMs.

These gas MPG numbers are based on 90% HWY driving and 10% city.

Note: In winter/cold weather I would let the car warm up longer, doing this will obviously bring down the overall MPG. However, I view it as important for the durability of the motor. It gets cold here in Michigan and the car sits exposed outside on a driveway all night.

What kind of driving though Cisco... that is very important

My gas mileage doubles from city driving to long trips on any car I have...

anyone else with one of these cams. Those numbers seem almost unreal... that's the mileage I currently get with my stock F22A6.

With a 272 cam I didn't notice any changes in fuel economy (mixed highway/city traffic)

Even if there was a difference, it was probably within 1-2 mpg during normal driving

I'm pretty sure that a mild cam like a Delta 272 regrind or a Bisi stage 1 will pass emissions without a problem.

I edited my post for the type of driving. My bad, good look. I've just posted this info many times elsewhere, didn't finish out info properly.
