ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    CA smog for a H22A

    Ok,
So I know this has been covered a lot, but I can't find anything that actually answers my questions. I need to get an H22a CA smog legal.
All I really need is a list of parts to get it within CA standards. The car already passes the sniffer, I just need to find out what all I have to add or wire in to get it to pass the visual and meet whatever requirements CA has.
If anyone has a DIY on the process it would help a lot.
    thanks

well, if you have everything hooked up, i.e., egr valve, EVAP canister, map sensor, and all the emissions stuff hooked up. you should be ok. just make sure that your swap doesn't look all mickey moused up. make sure all your splices that you had to do are covered up well. where you from anyhow?? if you're close by, maybe I can help.

I'm in Lemoore, CA (just south of Fresno)
All I have is and EGR, I don't even know what the other stuff is that I need to have to make it legal. I think it has a MAP, but nothing else. Where would I even look for the stuff to see if I have it? Also assuming I don't have it, how hard would it be to install?

To get it legal you'll have to get it smogged by a State Ref to get the motor BAR'ed. You can call to make an appointment (800) 622-7733. It's only $30 dollars with one free retake.

You need to have everything that the USDM H22 prelude would have (Find and check out the vacuum diagram). If you have the JDM H22, you'll need to add the airboost valve. You can use the same one from the F22. All the other stuff you should already have, because the JDM H22 comes with the vacuum ports (and you hook those up to the accord black box on the firewall) and I don't think you would be passing the sniffer without it.
You'll also need the USDM p13 just to pass the visual, because the Ref will check it.

I hope you have an 1995 or older H22, otherwise this will be much more difficult.
