i want to know if its worth getting some head work done to a f22a1 i just want to reach at least 160 or a 170hp on my cb i just bought it and would like some ideas on how to accomplish my goal but i want to keep my car n/a

idk man, probably for the same if not more amount of money you'd invest to build up your F22A head, you could have swapped in the F22B DOHC motor which makes about that much power which would be easier.

but hey it's your money man you can do whatever you want.
if you do choose to go with building up a engine, i'd suggest looking into HondaFan's red build.

true i put an A6 cam, intake black box A4 header and i only got ab 25 more horses go with the f22b

look into hondafan81s red project. he made about 150whp with just head work. very mild build

if you put in the A6 cam, you should also install the A6 intake manifold along with the PT6 ecu to control everything.

x2, i love the noobs given out info. you can sure reach 150whp on the f22. itll cost ya a little bit but its definitely doable.

Get and H23 intake manifold
Bisimoto Stage 2 camshaft
Bisimoto Valvetrain
Port and Polish the head
Decent header
Chipped P06 to have it tuned with

and you should be making around 150-160 horsepower rather easily
