ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

                There's an idea. 2point6 did the K24 so the K20 is different-ish

but it also depends on what your looking for. i haven't looked into the DOHC F22 much. But i am really interested in the F20B.

but forget all that. If you want to be really different and have more resources than me with some motivation, try a CRV AWD K swap, or even an F20C RWD swap.

I want to, at some point in my life, get one of those swaps into a CB. I have seen a little of an AWD Teg with a K20. Had an unlock for the fronts and started doing donuts.

                        ummmmmmmm........no. Well not exactly.

                        A JDM H22A has from 10.6 to 11.0 compression(i think the 11 is a type S or Euro-R)

and just slapping a GSR ecu would probably not just go. any Civic or Teg ECU needs chipping and tuning to run anything but their respective stock motor well.

and with a stock or even bolt on H, you aren't going to be getting any power over 7500 so reving up to 8k isn't a good thing. Hell getting too high on a stock head could cause valve floating and bye bye H22

last time i checked the H22A anything stock redlined at 7200. and just because it's JDM doesn't mean it would redline higher that the a4.

the only way to make power above the stock redline is to do some serious work.
Take a stock basic JDM H22A. i would say, at least build the head. and thats everything in it. Plus cams and a Euro-R intake manifold. I would add an S2k throttle body too.

or at least thats what i plan on doing to mine. and the only way to determine exactly how high, you need a dyno tune to see where power drops. that'll tell you where to set everything.
