ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    Aight... I need some F22B / H23 Header School-age

Aight fellas... this forum seems to be the Best one when it comes to knowledge on the F22B (2.2L DOHC non-vtec) motor & what Does or Does not work.

I have an F22B in the lude. This motor replaced the previous F22a1 (2.2L sohc non-vtec). I was rocking a DC Ceramic header on the F22a1 motor.
When I replaced the motor with the F22B, the mechanic was able to use the Same DC header.

Now I've heard that H23 parts will fit the F22B, does anyone know this to be true??? Can anyone confirm that an H23 Header will fit an F22B??

Also does anyone know if a Stainless Header was ever made or is JASMA approved?

Also.. sorry hehe... If the H23 header fits... will the downpipe rear Flange line up properly with the Catalytic Converter?

    Holla back!!

    Thanks!

    Ceasar

        That would make sense

I think the H23 has the same head as the F22B DOHC as well. At least in the sense that intake/exhaust manifolds bolt right up

I love that Wings West kit for the BB1 by the way. I wonder if that front lip fits the CB

thanks for replying fellas. Yea that Intake mani and the DC header off of the F22a1 was used on the F22B.

I got a strong feeling that an H23 Header will bolt up fine on both the top and bottom end.

How many Stainless Headers were offered for the H23, does anyone know?

I might have to take a risk and buy an H23 Megan header.

One thing that I don't like about the F22a1 header is that the O2 sensor bolts on at the front of the header... looks like crap. I think the O2 sensor on the H23 bolts up towards the bottom.... right before the Flex pipe.

Slight rust around the head flange... and I'm doing a wire tuck soon. The Ceramic header is as pretty as a stainless one haha. It also has an exhaust leak on the flex pipe that I have tried wrapping with some thermal wrap... but it's getting alil annoying.
