Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    I Need Help!!!!

    hey guys i need ur help, im trying to fix my friends civic, i got a couple of problems the car start fine and everything, when the car its cold a lot of smok comes out of the mufler its like blue and white, when the tempeture get to the normal and i start runnign the car the smok stop, but i feel the car 2 slow, and after its on the normal tempeture its like something its burning smoke comes out of the botton of the car looks like the catalistic somewhere on the exhaust, but it smell like something its burning not like oil nuth alse, il apreciate somebody can help me i need the car 4 this winter

    White smoke can be caused by burning coolant. Check the oil, if it doesn't look right (somewhat milky), then that would be confirmation. Unfortunately, there really aren't any mild failures that would cause coolant to reach the combustion chamber. Usually a blown head gasket.

    Blue smoke, though, is usually a symptom of burning oil. And if its only happening when the car is cold, that is more likely. Also, it's not really all that abnormal.

      the smoking coming from under the car can be an oil leak dripping onto your exhaust pipe.

        check all visible gaskets and seals to diagnose the problem correctly. If you cannot see any leaks on the outside I wouldnt buy the vehicle because it is most likely a serious engine problem. How does the engine run? Any strange sounds erratic idling?

          We Got The Car 2 Months Ago We Bought It 4 300 But Theres No Links, Its Smell Like Something Is Burning Im Not Sure And I Wanna Fix So I Can Use Use It 4 The Winter, The Engine Runs Good, Feel Good But Its Like Slow If U Hit The Gas Just It Just Move Slow
