ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    power cord in bumper?

okay me and chris are in the process of blackhousing my lights and the bumper was a bitch to get off! and when we got it off we found this:

does anyone know what the hell this cable is for? it hooks up to 110v i'm sure...but i don't know why it's there i never seen anything like it before!
is my car mad jdm hydrid?

No, it's not a JDM hybrid. That is the cord for the engine heater. I had one on my Vigor. You plug it into the wall on really cold days to warm the engine up to make it easier to start. It's not as harsh on the ignition components and such when the engine is warm. Just tuck it away because you'll probably never run an extension cord to your bumper to warm your engine up anyways. That's just foolish looking

That's real nice to have. Plug it in in winter for 1-2 hours before you start the car. Your motor will thank you.

Is it a magnetic heater or the one that attaches to the radiator hose?

If it's anything like what I had, it runs to the block.

This is one of the few remaining OEM electrical accessories still available for the CB7 from the dealer:
08T44-SV4-100 View HEATER, ENGINE BLOCK (4 CYL)

It installs as shown in this '94-'95 CD5 example:
                  http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/.../16646_01.html
'92 Accord LX Sedan--Bordeaux Red Pearl --OEM--279k Daily Driver
EX Lip & Alpine OEM single CD Player. No more useless pocket!

woah so let me get this straight, according to that installion guide, to install the block heater we are using that bolt on the back of our block that drains the coolant out for when we are flushing out coolant?

Ya that link was for 94-95 accord. Mine as well as most are in place of the frost plug. But some could be different. Cool I would preffer to have the thread in type. Wayyyyyy easier to change when they blow. For any one who has not used their block heater in years. Replace it before u suddenly decide to use it (frost plug type only) because I'v had and seen them blow. (pop out, coolant all over, blown breaker) not something u like to wake up to on a cold winter day.

Speaking of electric cars, on of those new Toyota full hybrid sedans drove by the other day and all I heared was the tires rolling on the pavement. Wierd..
