ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Kick ass! but whats this?

i finally after a year got my clutch done with a lightweight flywheel, all hydraulic parts were replaced, hoses, master and slave cylinder. exedy oem cluch package and 12 lb flywheel its alotta fun in the higher rpms...so im told still breakin it in, but an odd thing is happenin. whenever i depress the clutch pedal it feels, well like a new cars, easy to push in, which i assume is normal. but one of every two times or so i push the pedal, it wont come back up on its own, or it might stick and then pop back up. is this a problem or normal cause its all so new and still getting broken in?

    Thanks!

you have to bleed the clutch system...it takes a while to properly get all the air out.

it might stay on the floor if you continue driving it the way it is.
shouldnt damage anything though. unless the air in the system is leaving the clutch partially engaged.

bleeding it should only take about 15 mins. 20 tops.

bled it now it doesnt stick to the floor, but about three quarters of teh way up it might stick and tehn pop, my buddy said there seemed to be quite a bit of freeplay from when you start pushing to when it engages the clutch. any ideas or just adjust the master pushrod?

Sounds like the master cylinder wasn't bench-bled before it was installed... I installed mine the same way. Bled nearly 2 bottles of brake fluid through it, and it's still not right.

so to bench blled it and make it right, you must take it off and tehn do this bench bleeding procedure, but whats the diff?

You get the air out of the master cylinder, and fill it with fluid, before installing it.

Otherwise, just bleed... and bleed... and bleed....

                        It'll eventually work!

Have you ever adjusted your pedal? It may not be a bleeding issue, but a pedal issue. You shouldn't play with your pedal adjustment unless you really know what you're doing.

the pedal adjustment should only be played with after you are sure all the air in the system is gone.

generally you want about an inch of freeplay.
a little more or less if its to your liking.
