ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Timing Belt Service

Im planning on replacing my timing belt soon and want to do a full service while im in there so I need to start the ordering of parts. The engine is an h22a. Now, theres the timing belt, balancer belt, water pump, acc belt, power steering pump belt. What else should there be on the list? I plan on running this engine very hard and dont want to run into a problem later on that could have been resolved with this service. So what else do I need on the list? I have heard of balancer shaft seals or retaining clips but dont know much bout it...shed some light please. Also cam seals? Main seal? Anything to with the oil pump? Am I missing anything? And one last bit...any special tools required aside from the one for the harmonic damper pulley? Yeah yeah ocd I know but I enjoy taking care of my car. And oem honda part numbers would be greatly appreciated.

i would recommend u change from automatic timing belt tensoiner to the h23 manual timing belt tensioner... some menbers would say automatic tensioner good bad .. .. other then that u pretty much have everything else listed to replace to have a healthy running motor with no issues..

Heres a link showing what will be required to do a auto to manual tensioner conversion. It will set you back another ~$120 approximately. If you were interested in this conversion, might as well kill two birds with 1 stone.

I'm in the process of collecting all the parts needed to replace my timing belt and do a full service as well, and planning on doing the manual conversion as well, since its all there too.

You should be solid after that. I'm airing on the conservative side too, so I too dont run into problems later on that could have been resolved, and plan on driving like a champion after that!
