ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Delta 272 regrind powerband for me on red Accord project was 4000-7000 RPM. I did feel that there was lower end loss, if not same as the original stock F22a1. I feel strongly that I did not gain anything on the lower end, but in the powerband mentioned above.
For this reason I would have preferred a Bisimoto level 2 F22 camshaft. It is designed specifically for the F22, not a generic grind. You will get a more useable powerband for the F22 and retain a flatter torque band. Look into jdm_accorn's mild NA F22 build.
The reason I went with Delta was because at the time I did not know about Bisimoto. Yes, I started the project way back in late 2004-early 2005.

Assuming stock valvetrain is in good working order....Bisi level 1 does not need valvetrain upgrade and neither for the level 2. However, on level 2, I would not take it past 7000 RPMs if on stock. If your motor is built to go further, then upgrade.
I ran my red Accord mild F22 build with Delta 272 cam with 7K RPM hits regularly on healthy stock F22 valvetrain for 63K miles. No problems during this period or currently, valvetrain is still fine. The more frequently you rev, just adjust your valve lash at 12K miles, instead of stock 15K interval. If you occassionally get on it to 7K, then 15K is fine.Last edited by HondaFan81; 11-11-2008, 11:53 AM.

thanks for the info, i bought a delta the other day for a reasonable price thats why i was interested i the 2 because i just found out about bisi in reading some of the threads recently. ive herd of delta and a friend of mine had one in his so thats why i got one but now im thinking different about what i bought im not trying to put it in and not like the outcome. as for valvetrain the motor has about 67/68k on it.(my stock f22 let go at 316xxx ish) i bought the new motor with only 43k from a local jdm importer the motor is a f20a and all mantiance has been done by me or my homeboy that works at honda. someone im not shure who said it but useable power, thats what im looking for cause i dont ride a round all day at 4500 to 7+k. oh and im still an auto so unless im holding gears the most i see is 6500 under WOT.Last edited by liljohn92lx; 11-11-2008, 09:46 PM.
