Hey Guys/Gals
I have a problem with my temps right after switching Rad hoses. I started by draining my existing coolant, changing hoses, putting in new coolant and then forgot to open my bleeder valve after starting my car....
So now I got air running through my heater, block and rad and it's causing my eng. temps to go just over 3/4 or near it. I've had to keep filling up the rad to the neck after revving the engine to allow air bubbles to come out. There is soooo much but it's not helping my temperature at all. It still rises.
The heater is on full and A/C on to get the fans going which keep the temps at 1/2 for a short duration. Heat isnt hot either.
I will add that nothing was a problem until just after switching the rad hoses. I noticed though that the top one is hot like it should be, but the lower one at the top end near the thermostat is hot, but not at the bottom end one of the rad, it's very cool and not even warm.... what would cause this? It's obviously not circulating..
I spent a good amount of my day trying to figure this out, perhaps someone on here had something similar happen. The reason for the rad hose switch was the aftermarket ones that were on there don't fit like the stock ones do. So I went back to stock rad hoses.
Anyway any help would be great!
