Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Overheating

    Ok when my car is on my fan doesnt turn on and when i turn my car off the fan turns on. Any help will do. Thanks

    Check your relay. I know with my old CB7, the fan used to turn on after the engine was turned off, so that's normal.

      Quick fix:
      The switch on the thermostat housing, unplug it, put a wire/paperclip to jump it, this will cause both fans to come on when the ignition switch is on.

        My fan turns on when my car is on and also when I turn my car off. How long have you been driving it when it doesn't turn on? The only thing I could tell you is to check your fuses but that's not right either. If the fan is turning on then it's getting current so it's not a fuse lol. I really don't know man. What is your temp. gauge saying? When was the last time you changed your thermostat? I would check anything that has anything to do with the temp. I doubt I have helped you any but I hope you get it figured out. Good luck man.

          Thermostat wouldn't cause the fans to not turn on.
          If it was stuck open, you're car wouldn't heat up.
          If it's stuck closed, you're car would overheat as soon as you start driving.

            My mom's 87 accord's fan wouldn't turn on except when she had the ac on so she just runs the ac pretty much all the time. I am not sure if cb's will turn on the fan when you turn on the ac but it might work until you can find the root of the problem.

              CB's have a seperate A/C fan.

                The 2nd AC fan will turn on if the heat gets higher than normal. Often in the official manual it says to heat things up until the 2nd fan turns on.
