Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

H22 ecu on a 91 accord

    H22 ecu on a 91 accord

    do you guys think that a h22 ecu would make a stock 91 honda accord stronger??...or will it even fit??

    It'll work great if you have an H22 in the aforementioned Accord. Not so great with another engine.

        No, The H22 ecu is for the H22 motor.

        On the other hand, the P12 ecu is out of a prelude F22A1 (same motor as your car) but is tuned differently to give the prelude more power.

        You can swap the P12 into your car at the expense of gas milage. But it will give you an extra 10 good horsepower.

          It's not a good idea to use a different ECU on a differnet engine

            The ECU is mapped to how that specfic motor runs, flows, ect.

              so how hard is it to switch the ECU?? would i have to tune anything??

                The p12 is plug and play. All you do is unbolt the plate under the carpet on the passenger side, unplug the stock ECU, unbolt it from the plate, reverse the procedure with the p12. If you have the f22a6 (SE in 91), leave the ECU you already have, it's best for an unmodified f22a6.

                    Who are you talking to? The p12 is a perfect ECU to swap out. No tuning required, it's programmed for the f22a1.
