ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

H23 or H22 Intake and TB installed on F22 A1

Pretty new with this subject. So please help me out with question? ok, H23 or H22 intake can it fit on a f22 tb? Or can the H23 or H22 big P fit on the f22 tb? Ok biggest question of all... Whats the point? What kind of horse power are really gettin, when you do this? Please, answer if you really know what your talkin about! Thanks cb7 dudes.

The F22 throttle body will not bolt up to the H22 or H23 plenum.

Only the H23 runners will work, the H22 runners will not bolt up.

However the H23 and H22 plenum and throttle body will work interchangeably because they are the same.

There are a few other intake manifolds, throttle bodys, and runners that will work for our CBs, but you asked specifically about those so I answered about those.

By doing this swap you are bumping up to a dual runner setup (unless you already have an F22A6, at which point I wouldn't bother). You also get a larger volume intake plenum and larger bore throttle body.

Suck in more air. More air = more HP. More HP =

There are about a half a dozen threads covering every aspect and combination of TB/runners/plenums/spacers/etc., here are a few:

Butterflies. IAB. Intake Air Bypass. The secondary runners in the H23 and F22A6 manifolds... the main benefit to that upgrade.

The H23/H22 plenum will only bolt up to the F22A6 or H23 lower section on our cars... and they both utilize the secondary runner system. Basically, a second set of intake runners opens up at a certain RPM to allow for more high end power.

Add an H23 intake manifold, and the difference is noticeable.

... or you can remove the butterflies that are in the IAB plate and the secondary runners will be open/bring in air all the time. Just another option you have.

Can you use a "OBX" H23A Honda Prelude Performance intake manifold or other performance intakes for the h23a to put on the f22?
Would it work as easy as the stock h23a intake manifold on my 93 accord.
AnD last but not least, would it add more performance? Iv been wondering and i dont want to waist the money on something less quality than another. im only looking for bolt ons. also, what else would be required?

i wouldnt bother with the H23 especially for a motor with just bolt ons. the only limiting thing on the intake side is the throttle body and diameter size intake.
