Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

h22 knock sensor..

    h22 knock sensor..

    i have a h22a automatic in my 93 coupe . i did the swap everythingz fine just wanted to ask i didnt wire up the h22 knock sensor .. will this be needed for vtec to work ?? i changed out vtec solenoid and vtec oil pressure for new units . and had joser from crzytuning wire up the vtec solenoid and pressure switch .

    No, you don't need the knock sensor for vtec to work, but you check engine light won't shut off until you wire it up, or chip the ecu to eliminate the knock sensor.

      thanx bro ... another question can i get a p28 to work with automatic tranny or do i need another ecu ??

        The H22's have the Butterfly's in the intake manifold. So a P28 will not run that even if you get it chipped. (Which you'll have to do anyway). Unless you go with a different intake manifold or a spacer where the butterflys are on the stock intake. But I don't have any experience with P28 running auto's...

          actually, if you talk to joser he can help with that. you don't need the butterfly's to run through the ECU. just have him plug it to straight vacuum so they will stay open. thats what we had to do to mine.

            thanx bro i didnt kno that . ima talk to joser . but wat ecu can i chip and still run my automatic h22 tranny.
