Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

H22/F22 trans need advice

    I stay with my F tranny. Its a good tranny and longer gears. I'm a cruiser, not a racer.

      Let's see here. Hmmmm...

      I'd go for M2B4 transmission. If you want close ratios , then go for it.

          why would you put an h in your car to cruise???

          dont be silly, put an h22 trans in there and save time later.



          this is why you dont put yourself in these situations. dont buy a hunk of junk when you dont have another car.

            he doesnt want to spend 500 on a regular h22 trans, i doubt he will spend 1000 on m2b4

              OK F tranny... will the EX tranny H2U5 bolt on ok to the H22 and the current mounting of the MPT3?

              Because I would rather go with the EX tranny(H2U5) than the DX, LX (MPT3) because it has shorter gears

              C'mon people!!!! time is a wastin" and the store is going to close!!!

                yes it will work...but it will not be nearly as quick.

                but yes.

                also if i were you(i wouldnt get the f but if i did...) i would replace the clutch while i was in there and replace throw out bearing with oem.

                      I'm off to get the ex tranny... trust me man how I would love to get the prelude Tranny... but it's in Montreal 3 hours away and Im too poor to change the clutch and components...so I'll get her by the winter and set her up proper in the spring. It will give me a chance to learn more about this beast...
